Sharp Mebius PC-AE50M with AMD 1.8Ghz Sempron 3000 and 1.5GB memory
Okay Sharp, are you back in the notebook and laptop game? Not really, realeasing only 1 or 2 notebooks every 6 months is not enough to compete against Sony, Toshiba, NEC and Fujitsu (these are just the Japanese counterparts).
This Sharp Mebius PC-AE50M is a nice laptop with single core processor using AMD 1.8ghz Sempron 3000, 1.5GB memory, 15inch LCD, DVD/CDRW, UV protected coating and 802.11b/g wireless. But the Mebius PC-AE50M is not a spectacular laptop to win any awards.
What happened with the Actius and being different with the rest of the manufacturers? Eventhough Sharp never sold millions of Actius, but it was embraced well in the world as a thin and light notebook as what Actius was meant for. We hope Sharp could again pick a niche and provide a niche solution instead of competing with the mainstream. Source: Sharp Notebook

I have come across a Sharp Mebius. The specifications seem more than adequate for most purposes, but I'm very impressed with how light it is. Seems to excel in that respect. Is this available on the NZ market?

Kindly help me where to find the Motherboard & Utilities driver for this notebook. I have searches the net but I can't find the right drivers for this. Your immediate action is highly appreciated. Thank you
